pretty in pink
Okay so oddly enough I found some cute shoes in pink (that actually kind of match the cards I posted earlier). Anyways, I'm not that interested in pink, but rather orange.
So...
1. What do you think about these shoes? in orange (couldn't post that pic)? because by the end of the party, I'm sure I'll be begging for some flats.
2. Current shoes here.

fabric bouts
Look at these beauties!
Another one of my most favorite crafty ladies is Laurie Cinotto. She creates weekly DIY projects for Once Wed and I am adoring these fabric bouts she featured this last week. Be sure to check out her etsy shop la la laurie for fabulous bouts and beautiful paper creations.
Laurie is the inspiration behind a few of my own wedding projects - namely the napkin rings, paper garlands, and our original centerpiece idea. She amazes me every week with her creative mind, execution, and impeccable direction writing for the readers at Once Wed.

Meet Courtney, who is a crazy talented designer, photographer (check out their recently launched website, Erin Hearts Court), event stylist, creator, and more. It's like a one-stop shop! She has created tables for Once Wed's table trends and she creates numerous invitation suites that are to die for. Check out her sites and services!
I just have to share this particular invitation Courtney created. I find the circular RSVP card so unique and adorable.

tag, i'm it.
I've been tagged by Lauren of Vintage Victuals - a lovely blog with amazing recipes. Definitely visit this blog if you're feeling the urge to cook - you won't be disappointed.
7 random/interesting facts about myself:
1. I was adopted from South Korea when I was 7 months old.
2. I was President of Math Club when we won the lip sync competition for the first time {of course, beating all the greek organizations}.
3. I used to have a huge obsession with Pilot Precise Extra Fine tip pens. They were the only pens I would write with on a daily basis.
4. I know how to knit and crochet, but I only do it seasonally.
5. I could probably eat mac n' cheese everyday of my life and be perfectly content.
6. I hate when people don't use their signals when driving, but I especially hate it even more when people use the left lane of traffic (not HWY) to speed ahead of everyone else stuck in traffic in the right lane and then expect to be let back over into the right lane. Erg!
7. I wish I were more girly sometimes. I don't wear make-up on a regular basis, heck I don't even know how to put on make-up, and I usually am always in a pair of comfy jeans and solid cotton shirts.
I'm tagging:
true grits - a great friend of mine who inspires me everyday with her stories of motherhood and just life in general
Lisette Price - our photographer

just breathe
So when I start thinking about the number of weekends left until the wedding, I get overwhelmed.
Only 7!!! weekends left. That's not a lot! and in those 7 weekends, one weekend will be spent in NC and three other weekends will include bridal showers.
So then I start feeling my heart beat faster. thoughts of everything that still needs to get done starting flooding the mind. and I get stressed. and then I convince myself that it will all get done. so I don't care anymore. until the next day when I go through the whole cycle again.

the two month mark
IN exactly 2 months, I'll be walking down the aisle. Crazy, I know! I can't believe the time has passed so quickly!
To celebrate this special day, I'll share a little about our proposal...
T planned a day trip to Amicalola Falls in North Georgia for the weekend following our two year anniversary. We hiked all the way to the top of the falls, which happens to be the tallest falls east of the Mississippi, only to be slightly disappointed by the view (just looking at the top of the falls isn't that great). So then we started the 425 step adventure down the stairs to look at the falls. It was beautiful!! There were several people around, so Tim took me down to a little overlook to continue looking at the falls. Here he began to tell me how much I meant to him and how special the past two years have been. He got interrupted by some people passing by, but then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It will always be a day to remember.

be mine, valentine
When I came across these, my little heart smiled. These would make perfect non-couple valentine gifts for anyone. and I must say that this color palette is right up my alley.
I've been in love with this store purl soho for a long time now. But today I discovered that they have a blog - the purl bee. I think I'm in love...
Here you can find step-by-step instructions on how to make these hearts. If I had time, I might have considered incorporating these little cuties in my wedding someway, somehow.

gocco: the final product
Here they are...
{lining the envelopes} I found some really cute wrapping paper for $2.99 from Target. I was able to line all envelopes and I still have tons of wrapping paper left. This is a much less expensive way to line envelopes and I really love the red dots.

If I could spend money on a dress without any consequences, I would choose this one in a heartbeat.
