Hooray for the weekend!! We're planning on going to the Braves Open House tomorrow (if the weather permits) and I'm so excited! I can't wait to step foot onto Turner Field. and I can even run the bases!! (Ha, a pregnant lady running the bases...that makes me giggle. I'll be walking for sure).

My dad brought over a surprise last week - a beautiful chest from 1937 passed down from his grandparents. He had it refinished for us and it looks beautiful. and we love the fresh smell of cedar. So this means, more storage for blankets and winter clothes!

Today is T's birthday! His present is the little baby growing inside of me, but I plan to make him some of his favorite cookies - chocolate chip - simple and easy, especially with my handy stand mixer.

I am so glad it's Friday! The days are just dragging by lately.
We’ve had a great couple of days with T’s parents in town. We’ve sorted a lot of the second hand baby clothes into different sizes (through 2T) and we’ve eaten some yummy food. Tonight T’s mom is cooking us chalupas, and maybe we’ll watch a movie.
Any fun plans for the weekend? We’re just going to continue getting the house ready for Baby.
This weekend:
-finish cleaning out nursery
-start organizing nursery
-go through all second hand baby clothes and decide exactly what we want to keep
-and maybe start some baby laundry?
-fill out short term disability forms

I love Fridays! Fridays are always a good day. Plus, it's a 3 day weekend!! and it's snowing!
Do y'all have any special plans for the weekend? I get another full weekend with the husband, so we're just taking it easy and hopefully adding to our registry. We're thinking our baby might actually need some things ;)

CDC closed at 2 today, so that means I got to leave early! and just in time! The snow started around 1:30pm and has fallen pretty heavily since then. It's so beautiful watching the snow fall and our backyard is already covered in white.
Miss Abby is going to be one jealous girl when our sweet babe arrives. Her life is about to change just as much as ours. She'll actually have to learn how to share her mama.
