From the first time I saw this dress on j.crew, it caught my attention, but I wasn't sure about the one wide strap with the one skinny strap. BUT now that I see it on a bride, I have to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress. and I love the pairing of a colorful cardigan with a wedding dress to add a pop of color to the day. {see another example here}

So Tuesday was Ms. Abby Normal's first birthday...and I forgot! I guess that's what happens once you have kids huh?

and yesterday, Cinco de Mayo, was my 26th birthday - my first birthday as a mom. It was fun sharing the day with Gray baby. We even ran a few errands together that evening as a family.

To many more birthdays as a Mom! Cheers! ♥

Woohoo! It's Friday! Right now I'm living for the weekends, especially beautiful sunny weekends.

Any fun plans? This weekend we'll be doing our usual cleaning in preparation for Baby S, but in addition we'll also be celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary on Sunday. It's hard to believe it's been 1 year already.

This weekend:
-more baby laundry
-pack hospital bag
-dye some Easter eggs
-dinner with Mom and C
-our wedding anniversary!

Hooray for the weekend!! We're planning on going to the Braves Open House tomorrow (if the weather permits) and I'm so excited! I can't wait to step foot onto Turner Field. and I can even run the bases!! (Ha, a pregnant lady running the bases...that makes me giggle. I'll be walking for sure).

My dad brought over a surprise last week - a beautiful chest from 1937 passed down from his grandparents. He had it refinished for us and it looks beautiful. and we love the fresh smell of cedar. So this means, more storage for blankets and winter clothes!

Tomorrow officially marks the first day of spring and I'm so excited!!! 1) Because spring means the birth of our baby boy, 2) my birthday season, and 3) pretty flowers everywhere. Sadly, spring is short lived here in GA. Temperatures creep up rather quickly, but I'm going to try and enjoy it as much as possible.

Today is T's birthday! His present is the little baby growing inside of me, but I plan to make him some of his favorite cookies - chocolate chip - simple and easy, especially with my handy stand mixer.
